To get started you need to create a new design file. The first thing you need to add is a frame to your design which is just like an Artboard or a Canvas to hold your design. To add a Frame, click of the Frame icon from the menu or use the shortcut (F). This will enable the properties of the frame of the right side of your screen as seen below in the snapshot.
